റൂവി മലയാളി അസോസിയേഷന് നോർക്ക അംഗത്വം ലഭിച്ചു

Muscat: The Ruwi Malayali Association (RMA), a leading collective of expat Malayalis in Oman, has been officially recognised and granted membership by NORKA Roots, the Kerala Government's welfare body for non-resident Keralites. RMA leadership describes the recognition as a major endorsement of the association's years of social, cultural, and humanitarian work.

According to office bearers, the recognition was granted in acknowledgement of RMA's long-running service activities for the expat Malayali community — including medical camps, charitable assistance, emergency interventions, and initiatives that have strengthened community unity over the years.

This is the first major recognition received by RMA under the new state government. The leadership noted that the NORKA endorsement will help the association engage more closely with the diaspora and implement various welfare programmes more effectively.

"This recognition is not just an achievement for RMA — it is an honour for the entire Malayali expat community in Oman. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every member, volunteer, and supporter who has stood by the organisation over the years. This recognition will inspire us to work even more strongly and responsibly for the expat community."
